Dark Country

Dark country at Rhialto blends country storytelling with gothic Americana, outlaw attitude, modern production and the occasional supernatural edge. These songs tend to favour sharp hooks, morally complicated narrators, dangerous romance, dusty landscapes and stories that turn a little stranger after midnight.

Lux Arden is the main dark-country voice, while Orpheus Shade brings narrative country, tragedy and folklore into the same orbit. Browse the long-form videos below, or open the complete Dark Country music library.
