The Playground War: Everyone Gets Home is a science-fiction story about interstellar conflict viewed through people whose goal is survival and return rather than conquest. The title’s promise — everyone gets home — frames the war around obligation, endurance and the human meaning of home.

The project combines military-scale stakes with a more personal question: what is worth preserving when the machinery of conflict becomes much larger than any one person?
